Lamb is thought to be one of the healthier red meat. Also during winter, it keeps you warmer.
Instructions
- Add cubbed lamb in cold water and bring to boil. Wash and drain.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger, garlic, pepper, star anise, cinnamon stick, jujube (红枣),and drained lamb. Add cooking wine and bring to boil.
- Add 1 tablespoon of rock candy (冰糖) and soy sauce. Bring to boil again and then cook with low heat for 65 minutes.
- Add green onion and cook for another 5 minutes.
