Delicious Baked Chicken

This is an Indian inspired dish for the most popular protein in the world: Chicken.

Instruction

  1. Quarter a chicken, you can use drumsticks, thighs, wings, and breast with bone attached. Skin and excess should be removed as much as possible. The rest of the chicken carcass can be used in another dish such as chicken stock.
  2. Marinate in a baking dish the chicken with turmeric, paprika, parsley, chopped garlic, ginger, black pepper, cayenne pepper (optional for some heat), cooking wine, soy sauce, and olive oil. Let it sit for 15 to 45 minutes.
  3. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350F for 50 minutes.
  4. Remove the aluminum foil, drain the excess juice (reserve) and bake at 400F for another 15 minutes.
  5. Optional: Serve with the reserved juice.
